Photographing the images of "love" that people construct within the city—wedding dress shop windows, heart-shaped symbols—it all feels like a clumsy love song. And yet, sometimes, one has to listen. More often, though, what I truly love is something unclear, something blurred. After the love songs fade, this remains:
A condensed fragment of love, an unrealistic daydream balanced by the quiet reality of what follows. Still entranced by a fleeting profile, by film scenes and title cards I have never fully grasped.
